Hi All!!!

I have a question.  Are the Sub-woofers for this unit near the rear window?
Reason I ask, it seems like I've lost some volume in the rear of my car.
All I can hear from the two "window" speakers is muffled sounds.  The two
rear door speakers have sound, but real low in volume.  I've changed the
balance to the rear....and it's real low in volume.

Any advice?  Could I have blown the rear speakers?  Is it the HU?

Thanks!!!!!

I don't know the the 2005 maxima Bose in particular, but in general:

The 2 speakers on the rear shelf use the trunk space to generate bass.
The 2 speakers in the rear doors  generate your left and right channels
of audio
The 2 speakers in the front doors, accompanied by the tweeters higher
up  also generate your left and right channels of audio.

The volume of the rear doors is set to lower than the front doors so
that the perceived soundstage remains in front of the car and does not
wind up in the middle of the car.

Hope this helps
