I'm in the process of replacing the timming belt on my max. I was told by
two mechanics to get a timming belt kit and a new water pump. I got the
pump and the kit. The kit says on the box that it includes the Belt(s),
Idler(s), and tensioner(s). In the kit all I can see is a belt and a
tensioner. My question is, does this car have an idler pulley on the
timming belt? Also how many tensioners does it have? If any, how many
Idler pulleys?

Thanks,

Jordan

Normally there is only one tensioner and two idlers, one moved by the
tensioner and a second one with a fixed position.  Not 100% sure this
holds true for your vehicle.

That's all it has, one tensioner and no idlers. Make SURE the new belt has
marks on it to align the cams (Or make some before you remove the old belt)
or you'll never get it timed right trying to use the marks on the covers...
