I have a 93GXE auto 178k miles. Engine started to run rough at idle to
about 1500-2000 rpm. Tested by removing individual plug leads while
engine running. Removng lead from #1 cylinder made no change in idle,
all others produced noticable change. Spark present for cylinders.
Took ohm readings for all injectors, 2 thru 6 were approx 10-40 ohm,
#1 read 300-350 ohm.
Bought rebuilt injector from:
http://www.automotivepartsnetwork.com/autoparts/
$36.85 plus $7 core charge. Damaged old injector during removal.

From the service manual:
Injector resistance: 10-14 ohms. If NG, replace injector.
With an injector reading 400 ohms, i would replaced the defective ones
before replacing knock sensor or O2 sensor.
Good luck.

On the twincam 2 of the high reading injectors lie beneath the intake
manifold and that must be removed to extract them. KS essentially right
there for the taking after plenum removed so time to do it then. Looks
like real fun.

I did this job about a year ago on a 91 GXE. It really isn't that bad.
I bought all new parts from the Nissan dealer and the cost was roughly
$1k. I got 6 new injectors, o-rings and gaskets. I did break one of
the injector clamps in the process so had to replace that. The entire
job took less than a day once I had all the parts. I needed to buy an
8mm (??) hex head to remove the plenum bolts. I didn't bother marking
all the vacuum lines (about 12 of them) and actually got them back on
correctly. A bit of dishsoap in the lines made it much easier to get
them back on. It's a lot of bolts and a lot of parts, but it really
wasn't a big deal. I did have a haynes manual and people here that
helped along the way. Better MPG and substantial power increase when
done.
