I have a year 2000 Maxima SE.  The remote only operates the door locks, not
the trunk.  Nor does it roll down the front windows if holding the open
button.  Not sure about the windows feature, but my 1996 did this.  Tried
other remotes and programmed without success.  Sounds like a Body Control
Module?

Thank you in advance.

I don't recall if the trunk release was supported (I would guess that
it was), but the window-roll down was not supported on the 2000 model
year.

Nirav

I have a 2000 GLE - the remote does release the trunk, it is the round black
button under the unlock one.

For lo, "TNK" hath proclaimed:

If it's any consolation, the '00 Infiniti I30's remote doesn't
work the windows either - though it does do the trunk.
