1995 Nissan Maxima SE Wicked on Gas

What would cause a maxima to be hard on gas.

New sensor
new spark plugs
coil check and ok

fuel and air filter not replaced yet

How "hard" is hard? City or Hwy?

Change the fuel filter and replace the coolant temp sensor.

The temp sensor change will take a few tankfuls to adjust.

Besides all the previous recommendations, make sure that the alignment
and tire inflation pressure are correct.
