I'd sure hate to see what it looks like underneath your car.

Thanks for your extra contribution to polluting the environment.

People like him are why the planet is doomed,,can afford to pour in
oil, but not have a few gaskets replaced, and apparently proud of
it,,?????????

But wait,,,Nissan Tech,,,you work for one of the anti christ Nissan
Dealers - what do you know,,?? (Time to hear from the multi alias
Codifus whatever,,LOL)

Thanks for being one of the few that bother to post anything sensible
in this group anymore.

I will try to explain something to a goofball like yourself.  There
are NO crosspostings as I only replied to ONE group.  See how that
works?  Secondly, this is the ONLY name I use to post to these
groups.  I have ALWAYS used the same name, unlike yourself.

I don't need any help nor booze to make you look like an a.s.

This is obvious by the replies you get from many others.

You dad still work at the Nissan dealership?

Let's see:

A couple of quarts of oil, $8. Hell, take 20 quarts of oil. That's
$40.

Replacing the front oil seal, $250 or more.

Replacing the rear oil seal, $400 or more. This involves the somewhat
intense labor of separating the engine from the tranny.

So tell me, how is "replacing a few gaskets" comparable in cost to
adding quarts of oil here and there?

Another that sees nocommon_sense for the goofball he is.  Seems to be
a widening group.  The way he talks, his daddy must own a dealership.

Sonny, when oil get in my drinking water, it WILL be a big problem.
It comes from about 900 feet down right now.

Sorry but that is a title you have held since birth.  Keep it, it
looks good on you.

I don't hate dealers and that is why you look so stupid.  I just
don't think one needs to go to them to get the tire pressure and oil
checked like you do.  Then again, if I was as incompetent as you seem
to be, I may use a dealer more.

Naturally, the point here is that his Maxima has a reliable engine. I
am gald to know that as I am a maxima owner too.
I would like to see this person get the source of the leak diagnosed
so that if our maximas start leaking we would look there first.

Maybe if he gets it fixed and shares that here we could benefit as
well.

Should he fix to leak to help the enviornment, sure, indeed... BUT,
this is news group is not called alt.autos.enviornment.

Be nice to each other, you catch more flies with honey. I want to hear
more about this Maxima with 230k Miles.

Thanks
Devils Advocate - 10 Dec 2007 03:46 GMT
I own a 95 maxima SE for quick some years now. The mileage is 180,000 kms.
Significant repairs are as following

Gear box rebuilt
Crank sensor
oxygen sensor

Power steering pump need replacing due to some minor rust

Done regular maintenance besides that
Brakes
Exhaust

Hard on gas though
