This is a new one.  I have a noise coming from my rear (at least I'm
like 85% sure) when I coast.  When I hit the accelerator and drive
normally the car makes no noise- when I let go of the gas and coast it
makes a hum/rubbing noise.  Nothing high pitched or anything, just a
hum that can be heard throughout the car.  When I apply the brake- the
sound goes away.  Anyone have any ideas?

Just a guess:
Fracture in the exhaust pipe/flange weld at the flange in front of the
rear muffler causing an exhaust noise under certain conditions. The
fracture is a common problem (design fault) on 02-03 Maximas.
