2002 Maxima SE, automatic, error codes -

P0455 - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak)

P1448 - EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve (Open) (Nissan, Infiniti)

On my 98 Maxima, which in most cases is similar to your 2002, the
canister was located just behind the left rear wheel, below the feul
filer neck. my valve was clogged with leaves and such when I got the
code. I got it cleaned it up and the code went away.
