1996 Maxima, need help.

Need Help, the Orange/yellow light is on, in the main instrument
cluster about 4 or 5 O'clock it reads CHECK [not blinking] I don't
have a Manual, I have a 1996 Maxima 6 Cyl, Auto, with 85,000 Mi.

Any help will be much appreciated. John from Boston area

CHECK light with little outline of an engine. "Malfunction indicator
Light - If this light comes on or blinks while engine is running, it
may indicate a potential emission control problem....." Check the
emission control system. BTW, owner manual PDFs are available on
the Nissan USA web site.

A day before I noticed a bit of antifreeze [about 4 tablespoons] on
the driveway, and antifreeze is full to the level, Is there any help
on this.

I can get into acrobat reader on the web, was unable to
find the pages. Is there help on this one.

I checked that website and found the manuals only existed for 5th gen
maximas and up. If this is no longer true someone please speak up.
