Hi - Any estimates on how long it would take to install the subject part in
a 2001 Nissan Maxima?

thanks

what makes you think you have a problem?

I have NEVER replaced or had a problem with the IAC valve in a maxima from
as far back as 1989

My 1998 Maxima died right after starting about 2 weeks ago.  Towed to dealer
and charge was $42 to RESET the  valve.   to spec. This doesn't answer how
long but if in fact that is your problem there must be some sort of
adjustment.

There is nothing to reset on this part.  If you mean they reset base
idle rpm, then OK, but that does't mean the unit is bad.  You do
adjust the plastic screw on the IAAC valve to set base idle rpm (ie.
tps disconnected).
