91 Maxima Headlights

One side of the headlight is off from time to time when it is on daylight
driving mode.  The light will turn on when I switch it to low beam during
night driving. Can anyone let me know what could have happened.  Thanks for
the help in advance.

I think the switch is bad or going bad.  My 90 does that occasionally.  I
just flip it a few times and the high beam (usually the right) comes back
on.
