Oh yeah, the 225's weigh about 2 pounds more than the
stock 205's.
Does this make that much difference?

I did the same thing for a truck I once owned. Same exact thing. Worked
out fine. I actually liked the way the new tires looked a little fatter on
the rims. Your not really buying much by doing it thou. Maybe a little
traction, but mostly it just looks different. Tire rack may just not stock
that size cause its not a heavy seller or it just not listed on the web
site. Call them and ask if they can get it.

I have used 225/60-15 on my newer (95) Maxima SE without any problems (it
came with 215/60-15 which are probably hard to find now, and I think
non-SE models came with same 205/65-15 size you have).

Huh? BFG's data for 205/65-15 (Traction T/A) shows section width 8.2 and
225/60-15 shows 9.0. So as long as you have 1/2" clearance around your
existing tires, you should be fine.
> Also, anyone know anything about the BF Goodrich Traction T/A's?
With earlier generation BFG all weather tires, their VR-4 had noticeably
better traction, but did not last quite as long as HR-4. The Traction
T/A's seem to have same treadwear rating and traction rating for H or V
rated. Although, I would expect that the H might ride a little smoother
and V may be sturdier and better handling due to their higher speed
rating,
