I just bought a '96 300zx non-turbo.  I only got one keyless entry
remote and no original keys.  I have seen a few Nissan remotes on eBay
that look like the remote that I have.  However, the FCC ID number
that is listed in the auctions doesn't match the FCC ID number on the
remote that I have.

Do I have to match that number?  Or will any Nissan/Infiniti remote
that looks like mine work?

For the no original key issue, I ordered 3 300zx OEM key blanks from
Courtesy Nissan in TX.  2 are master key blanks and 1 is the red
"valet" key.

I'm sure that any hardware store can cut the master keys, but how
about the valet key since I don't currently have a valet key?

Thanks.

You should be able to take them to your local nissan dealership and they can
pull the key code from your VIN.. the key code also might be in your glove
box on a sticker. If thats the case they can cut the key .

Also the Valet key is cut the same its just got different grooves in it
