My brother was helping me work on my car one day. When fixing the spring in
the inside door handle, he locked and un-locked it from the inside
components, thus activating the security. No alarm, no lights flashing,
just the starter disengaged. Could pay money that I don?t have to get it
fixed, could risk it and try to fix it my stupid self. I have had 5 ?car
security experts? look at it talking about, ?Security shmurity, I could
brake into any car, there?s all ways some kind of deactivation switch, did
you try putting your key in the door and turning it?? Please help, tell me
a wire to splice or cut or something.

To my knowledge there is no disconnect switch. The only way that I know of
turning off the system is to insert the key in the driver's door lock the
car and wait until the security light goes out, then unlock the car.
If that does not work try disconnecting the battery then try the first step
again.

Not going to fix your current problem i think, but might help with
future problems. something was wrong with my alarm and only the
security light would light up, which drained my battery daily =) I
just took out the fuse for the security system and haven't had a
problem since.

Just unplug the alarm box under the seat or pull the fuse. Like someone else
said, just disconecting the battery should deactivate the alarm. Unless
your brother did something inside the door that makes the alarm think it
needs to reactivate itself? EVen so if you unplug the box, the car should
work fine.
