I installed a Borla exhaust today with Nismo headers. Looking at the intake
right now. I like the looks of the Kinetix unit but have heard stories of
the plastic cracking from vibration, etc. Anyone have experience (good or
bad) with these?

I looked into Crawford but they are not readily available.

Cheers,

Kinetix has done a very good job of addressing the cracking problem.
They're now shipping version 3 of their plenum, which includes the mods to
version 2 (brass sleeves in the moun points) and certain manufacturing
inconsistencies have been fixed (hole allignment, improved molding process).

I've had version 2 on for about a month now and there are no problems to
report.  Even now that outside temps have gone from freezing to the high
80's.

Since when has Doug at Crawford had production problems?
Kinetix doesn't work with FI or N20 Crawford does.

I have ran my Crawford plenum N/A, N20 and now 9 PSI FI perfectly.

Kinetix is good but they can't do that and turn around from time of order
is only about a week with Crawford. You won't have cracking worries either
or the other problem I am reading lately about blockages from the mold.

Stop, look what's that sound?
Everybody look what's going down.

I am "on the list" with delivery expected 1 month or so out. This is fairly
unacceptable to me hence I'm looking in to other possibilities.
I don't doubt the quality of the Crawford unit.
Thanks!
