I know I posted this last week, but I have been out of town and I think I
missed any reposts...

Over the past couple of weeks the HICAS light on my car has been coming on
when I start the car and then eventually going off after driving for a few
miles.  It is now starting to stay on longer and even flashes on when I hit
slight bumps in the road, no turning.  From what I know about the 90-93
zx's, the HICAS is hydraulic, could this be a hydraulic/steering fluid
problem or something else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

The fluid level for the power steering is low, probably has a high pressure
power steering hose leaking. That's the most comon problem but could be
something else as well.

I had a power steering problem in my 90 Non-Turbo. I siphened out about 12
ounces of the power steering fluid with a turkey baster, and added "Lucas"
power steering fluid. Problem cleared right up! 7 dollars total cost,
opposed to Goodyear wanting 1,200 to replace my whole rack and pinion.
