Anyone know a good early Z (240-260z) mechanic on the southside of
Atlanta?

We're on the east side, near Decatur.. That's what we mainly work on, early
Z cars. Been at it since 1970.

Would a tour through you shop be available? Are you open on
Saturdays?
I currently have 3 Z's, all needing work.
a 70 240z series 1 (registered as a 71--Oct 70 built) w/3 spd auto
and 2 74 260z's, one 4spd manual, the othe 3 speed automatic

Something i have been trying to find out which you might know...i have
read that 240z's with an automatic (like mine) were first built in Oct
70. Wondering how near the first mine might be. Any idea what serial
number was the first 240 with automatic transmission?

Thank you,
Shannon

Sure, we have several projects in process, one is almost finished and one is
being started.

Might try asking at zcar.com? That would be a pretty rare car.
