I agree John. I emailed a tire shop and they suggested wheel spacers if
needed. Don't know much about spacers and how safe they are, but if I
needed spacers, then I'd be concerned about clearing the wheel wells.
I'm going to ask if I can mount one wheel to se if they fit and go from
there. Thanks.

5mm spacer will be OK on standard studs. Any bigger and you will need
new longer studs, that ups the cost a lot. (Supposed to be cheaper to
get some Ford studs and nuts as studs to match thread in Nissan nuts
can be dear but I'm not sure which Ford)
Offset of wheel should be marked somewhere inside rims (e.g. :- ET-38)
or the like. +5/-15mm from what yours are will be OK. If lower
offset (e.g. :- ET-32) it will move the wheel outwards, if bigger
offset (e.g. :- ET-42) it will move wheel inwards and is more likely
to foul the suspension or brakes and need a spacer.
Other issue is size of the hub center hole, Nissan wheels are hub
centric with a 66mm diameter hole. If the Eclipse wheels have smaller
holes it's a no go, bigger (unlikely) and you can get rings made up to
center the wheel on the hub. If you don't get this right the wheel
will run eccentric and give vibration problems.
