OK, I need to find the location of the sensor that controls the relay that
turns on the vacuum pump, it has a yellow/blue wire going to it, but I can't
find it anywhere on the motor. I guess it senses a lack of vacuum and turns
on the pump to keep the AC and stuff like that working, well it hasn't been
doing its job and I traced my problem upstream to it.

Following those wires from point A to point B is
probably your best option. Unless you want to buy a shop manuel on the 87
Z.
Also, does the AC fan turn on when you flip the switch, but no cold air ?
If so, the freon could be low. Most Nissans have a saftey cut off value
that activates and prevents the AC compressor from engaging when freon is
low. This prevents burnout due to low freon. If you cannot hear the AC
clutch engaging with a clicking sound, then check the freon.
If its just wiring, then the manuel is the bset bet and worth the $25 or
whatever it costs. I found manuels on EbayMotors.com

It was the vacuum switch that turned on the vac pump, had to take it apart
and replace the microswitch inside of it.
