I just put a new engine in my 1986 300ZX and it has been slightly modded,
bored out 30 over and the heads rebuilt. I seem to have an issue with my oil
pan gasket.  It has blown out 2 times now.  I still have the stock manifolds
on for now, is it possile I am having to much back pressure?  Thoughts?

Do a leakdown check of the cylinders.  Either you have some really bad
rings or your pan is not being installed correctly.

I have checked the whole engine over and the oil is coming from the bottom
back of the engine so I suspect either the oil pan gasket or a rear crank
seal.

If you replaced tha pan gasket and it's still leaking, it's probably the
rear seal..

I replaced all of the seals before putting the engine in, just wondering if
anyone has had any experiences with too much back pressuse blowing out the
oil pan seal?

By backpressure you mean exhaust back pressure? The car would have to run
like total crap if this was so bad that it was making the crankcase
pressure so high it was blowing out pan gaskets.

If it is another failed pan gasket either you are using VERY poor quality
gaskets or are overtightening them and ruining them.

Only Nissan parts, torque to service manual specs

Then the gaskets can't be failing since you've done everything perfect...
