For the past few times I have noticed the voltmeter display less than 12
volts (more like 10 volts) at any engine speed.  After a long idling, the
voltmeter start to swing up to around 13.5 volts and as I play with the
pedal the voltmeter usually move up and down.  Today, after 10 min idling
and even with engine reving, the voltmeter refuse to move up (car is still
in storage so I haven't been driven since Oct last year.  Just start up the
engine once a month).  I have had this problem last year but the problem
went away.  Do I have a problem with my alternator?  If so, can I rebuilt or
repair my alternator?

That or a bad connection somewhere between the alternator and the battery.

Doubtful and anything other than a dealer reman is a waste of time
installing it.

Check the wiring, and then if all else fails, swap in an alternator from a
Nissan Maxima, it requires a little work, but it'll give you a 90 amp
alternator instead of a 70 odd or whatever the stock 300Z alternator was.

Thanks.  I will check and repair my battery connections.  The connection
clams seen it better days.  Previous owner has place a srew between the post
to keep clamp nice and tight.  I never thought it  would be a problem since
I can start the car.

It won't be the problem. A starter draws 150 or so amps at least. If it can
start the car, it is good enough for it to charge it back up.
