looking at buying a 86 300zx

i am looking at buying an 86 300zx turbo with t-tops. i was wondering
what u can tell me about it?   its ups an downs

Ups, very reliable mechanically, many go past 250K without major repairs.

Bad points, the develop negative camber in the rear susp mainly cause by the
lower control arms "bending" with age, The only reasonabl;e fix is slotting
the rear subframe to allow adjustment.

The MAS is delicate and can be ruined easily causing weird running
problems. Replacing the plugs isn't fun either. The turbo ones don't seem
to have any more problems than the non-turbo models so that isn't a
problem.

Can't just replace the lower control arms? Guessing they arn't made
anymore...

I thought the plugs were pretty easy, course I have small hands.

Sure, they run about $800 installed each side the last time I checked. Used
are a joke as they are going to be just as bad or worse.
