FWIW any 2+2 280z or 280ZX flywheel is the same thing. All use the 240mm
disk.

That's good to know Steve, thanks.
However we didn't get the 280Z's in Australia. We only had the 260Z's
till the ZX came along. I don't think the 260Z 2+2 had the 240mm
flywheel.

Steve do you think it is possible to fill weld the groove in a 260Z
flywheel and then have the face machined out to the 240mm to suit the
turbo clutch??

I'm pretty sure the pressure plate bolt pattern is different as well.

Yeah that would be right.
A friend has suggested that a flywheel and clutch from a Nissan Patrol
4X4 with a L28 engine might do the trick. What do you think?

 They never sold them here or at least haven't in a LONG time!
