My beloved 280ZX ( 1983 2+2, auto ) has recently started to splutter ever so
slightly at low rpm off the mark..until i get the accelerator about half way
down...then it seem to completely smooth out....it also seems to be a bit
heitant during this stage as well...
I should point out that this car has one done a mere 70,100 kms, and it just
due for a service too....!
I will obviously discuss this with the Nissan service manager when i book it
in, but wanted to see if I could get some opinions on it first...
cheers,

Not in the 7 months I've owned it....
Would in be unusual to need replacing them at these low kms ?

Age kills then as much as anything.
I'm wondering if there are any "odd" injectors i.e. someone replaced one or
two that were leaking rather than the whole set. Seen this cause problem
like you are describing when the injectors are mismatched types.

hmmm... there's nothing showing that in all the documentaion that came with
the car...but it could have easily not been documented or been lost since I
guess..
I'll just point it out the Nissan the service manager ( he did his
apprenticeship on 280ZX's ) and hopefully he'll sort it out.. I'm just
hoping we can still get these kind of things in if need be, with out too
much trouble...
These cars are no where near as popular ( or still in one piece ) in
Australia as they are in the US..
