I have an 88 Turbo and it seems to be running less than average. In the
morning (A/T) my transmission seems to not shift out of first. When it warms
up, it gets better but begins to change gears in a very 'jerking' way. As
soon as it warms up, it seem a little bad, but definitly doable.
Also, are there any particular vaccuum leaks this model is known for as far
as robbing performance? My boost only seems to go to 4 to 4.5 and I thought
these cars had more to them than this.

Sounds like a bad vacuum modulator on the trans.. Not a big deal to replace.

That's low and "vacuum leaks" don't cause this. You could have leaks but
normally the turbo will just push more air to make up for them making the
normal boost level, which does cause other issues. Stock boost should be
7PSI and they are doggy if they are only making 4-4.5
