I'm considering purchasing a Titan Truck. I really like the appearance of
the truck and I'm familiar with Nissan's reputation for dependability.
The Titan appears to be an unusually price competivie vehicle. Are there any
compromises with this new truck on the market?
Thanks for the comments!

I wouldn't count on the dependibility just yet. They will likely have
some teeething pains for a while. It sounds like rear end and trans. and
rotor problems need to be addressed. If they are anything like my old
Hardbody, they will hold up great.

Have had my 04 for about four months and love it. Try titanTalk.com for
lot's of comments from mostly very happy new buyers. There have been some
issues but all seem to be getting the attention they deserve from Nissan.
Personally I've had no issues but there are long threads on the forum about
rattles, ticking noises, etc, and some threads on brake rotors, and
differential issues.
IMO, given the number of Titans out there, the issues are few.
Remember, that members of titantalk are mostly young and somewhat fanatical
about wanting perfection and wanting it now! :=)

I have had mine for about 3 months...I check titantalk.com daily. I
have had none of the problems that others have had....I think most of
the problems were with early 04 build date trucks. Brake rotors are a
problem on many new trucks..I have had them warp on chevy, mazda also.
