2004 Nissan Quest, advertised at 19city/26hwy. Now I know this is under
ideal conditions, but I think actual mileage should at least be close to
this. I was getting ~16mpg a month ago when I complained to the dealer, and
he said it's because of the cold weather.. and relatively, it's not that
cold here in Portland, OR (30's-40's). It has now plummeted to 14.5mpg. Is
there ANYTHING they can do to improve this, or at least check out??

This is just a guess. Very often the temp sensor for the coolant gauge on the
dash and either coolant or cylinder head temp for the computer are two different
sensors. My first "guess" is that either the cylinder head temp or intake air
temp sensor, or some such is fooling the computer causing it to keep the mixture
too rich. You don't see it, because the coolant temp on the dash (using another
sensor) looks normal.
Best luck
