My tach needle just sits at 8000 rpm. On long drives, it starts to change
values, but the displayed values are not correct.
I'm getting about 20 mpg on the highway. I don't think the tach is passing
incorrect info to the ECC (indicated by wiring diagram), but I'm not sure.
I suspect the tach display mechanism is the only thing broken. Other than
Nissan, is there anywhere online where I can buy a new tach for my 1995
Quest?
Thanks,
Manjo

If you are in the Dallas area there is the Speedometer Specialty shop
but other than that I would go with a used one from a wrecking yard. I
could only imagine what a new one costs...

John,
I'm not near DFW area, but I will check with local wrecking yards. I
suspect the cost for a new one would be over the top.
Thanks,
Manjo
