so i was driving home tonite in the wife's 2001 sentra gxe, 1.8L when the service engine light soon comes on at 50617 miles. checked the owners & factory service manuals, mostly says unless it is blinking its one of those pesty emissions components. so where is the connector plug located (i.e. driver kick panel) so i can head to advance auto in the morning and read this code? i cant seem to find the connector location in the factory service manual.... please help. thanks brian > so i was driving home tonite in the wife's 2001 sentra gxe, 1.8L when > the service engine light soon comes on at 50617 miles. checked the [quoted text clipped - 6 lines] > thanks > brian Under the dash on the driver's side. Left of the wheel. thanks... found it and code reader gives P0171 which the service manual calls engine too lean.... so i will throw a can of injector cleaner in it, clean the throttle body and inspect the o2 sensors for fouling.... though i dont believe they are bad @ 50k miles. simple enough. brian >Driver side under the dash > [quoted text clipped - 10 lines] >> >> Under the dash on the driver's side.
