so i was driving home tonite in the wife's 2001 sentra gxe, 1.8L when
the service engine light soon comes on at 50617 miles. checked the
owners & factory service manuals, mostly says unless it is blinking
its one of those pesty emissions components. so where is the connector
plug located (i.e. driver kick panel) so i can head to advance auto in
the morning and read this code? i cant seem to find the connector
location in the factory service manual.... please help.

thanks
brian

thanks... found it and code reader gives P0171 which the service
manual calls engine too lean.... so i will throw a can of injector
cleaner in it, clean the throttle body and inspect the o2 sensors for
fouling.... though i dont believe they are bad @ 50k miles.
simple enough.
