Hey all,

I'm planning a big custom job involving the VK45DE but I would love to
get an AWD transmission to work with it. I am unaware of any nissan AWD
transmissions that would easily bolt up to it so I was thinking of
perhaps doing a bit of custom work on the RB26DETT ATTESSA transmission
to get it to bolt up to the VK45DE.

Does any one know of a better transmission to use for this? I'm
obviously trying to keep costs down, and I want to avoid as much custom
work as possible here.

Cheers.

The infiniti FX45 in the US has the attessa (std), but I'm not sure which
4.5 motor it is.
I'm guessing you're in Australia, don't know if that model exists there in
any form...

Cheers. The FX45 does use the VK45DE. We don't actually have that model
here, but importing the transmission should be no worries at all.
