Hello All:

It's time to replace the shocks on my beloved truck. I engage in some
off-road activity, but nothing very serious. I understand Bilstein (sp?)
etc. offer some excellent shocks, but they probably would be overkill
for my use pattern.

I am interested in a better shock than OEM, and wonder if there is a
consensus on the best bang for the buck given my intended use?

Any input appreciated!

Thank you.

Bilstein shocks are probably the best, but pricey ($200-$300 for a
set). They will definitely make a big ride improvement both on the road and
off. I'm not sure what kind of shocks you use now, but if they are
hydraulic, you should really think about upgrading to nitrogen gas shocks.
