today after taking my 94 pathfinder out of 4 wheel drive, i heard a metallic
clicking noise from the front drivers hub when i slowed the noise slowed and
when i stopped i could feel the hub lock up. after starting forward again
the noise came back so i stopped again and put it in reverse and drove
backwards several feet to disengage the hubs but had to do this twice to get
the noise to stop, everything seems fine now but should i be woprried about
something going bad or having been damaged?

also, i had recently serviced the front hubs and regreased them and while
servicing, found a splined washer in the drivers hub that was broken in 3
pieces so i replaced it, i didnt see any other damage in the hub
