Truck is located in Rainier, Oregon.  We are looking for a quality supplier
of remanufactured engines to extend the life of this pickup yet a while
longer.  Does anyone have a recomendation for a local (Portland to Tacoma)
supplier with a reputation for quality and reasonable prices?  We will be
installing the engine ourselves, so labor is not a cost issue.  Thanks for
any help.

By the way, if it makes any differance, the truck is a 4 cyl with no options
whatsoever.  Thanks again

Check eBay for rebuilt cyl. heads.  If the engine still has good
compression, that may be all it needs.  The 2.4 block can last forever if
treated right.  Also check with the speed shops (rice) in your area.  A lot
of 240sx owners swap in bigger motors, leaving their old engines looking
for a home.  89 to 90 used the same KA24E as your truck. Stanzas had it
until 92
