I recently discovered that the outer cv joint boot on my 96 Sentra GXE
is torn.  In order to replace the boot, I have to remove the outer cv
joint.   Here is my question.....  Frequently in the past when I tried
to remove the cv joint, the ball bearings would come out of their
cage.   The procedure became a nightmare after that point.  When this
happened I often went out and bought a complete half shaft.   I would
like to see if I can do it with just the cost of the boot kit.    I
need some suggestions.

Thanks,   Al Kondo
