2001 Nissan Quest GLE - Bad Gas Mileage?

Hello,

We purchased a used Nissan Quest a couple of months ago, and we really
enjoy it except for the gas mileage. We live in a hot climate, so we
usually have the AC turned on low (at 72 degrees). Most of the driving
we do is city driving. I know these factors lower the MPG, but we
consistently get only 14 to 15 MPG. Has anyone had similar experiences
with their Quest? We have the extended warranty, is there something
that likely needs servicing? The vehicle is in excellent shape with
only 38K miles.

Thanks for looking!

Wow I didn't know Pathfinders were that bad. My '89 Full size Chevy Blazer
gets 12 MPG with a 350 V8.

I've never gotten less then 17 mpg on the '02 Pathfinder.  But this really
doesn't answer the OP's question about Quest mileage.

I get 14-16 (depends really on if it's me of the wife driving), on my 93
Villager (aka nissan quest). If you look up the averages, they get between
17 in town, and 24 on the highway. But mine, on average is 14mpg :( and at
$2.40 a gallon .. well, I don't like it ..

I got y'all beat.

I get on average 19-21 MPG on my 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 5.3L/V-8
engine .

Is it a two-wheel drive Chevy? Highway mileage? No way you're getting that
in city driving.
