Can anyone give a suggestion as to what this fault may be?

I have a Nissan Primera (UK) 1.6GS, There is a crunching/ grinding/juddering
noise coming from the right hand front brake, not all the time.
It usually happens when i am braking as i approach a junction.

I have changed the disc brakes and the front pads twice to no avail.
Any suggestions would be gratly appreciated

When you replaced your pads, did you clean and lube the pin that allows
the brake caliper to float? It usually has a rubber boot around it and
your caliper mounting bolts go through it.

It could be that dirt got in there and the caliper is not floating
anymore - your pad may be constantly rubbing on the disc.
