My nissan used to stall in neutral when ever the air conditioner was on for
more than 4 or 5 minutes.  To fix this, I would just gunn it a few times
and then it would idle just fine for the next few minutes...then it would
do the same thing all over again.  The other day I ran my air conditioner
for about 10 minutes.  After the first 4 minutes I heard something click
under my hood. (sounded like it was coming from the "cruise-control
gas-line area, you know towards the middle rear area of the engine just
opposite the air/heat controls in the car.  Now my car stalls when ever it
is in neutral constantly and I mean every time the clutch is engaged, (even
while in motion) it stalls.

Any ideas on the solution will be greatly appreciated as I am not a car
expert and need to fix it like yesterday!

Thanks in advance

The air conditioning has a throttle kicker engage when it's turned on.
This boosts the idle speed to compensate for the A/C additional engine
loading. If your engine noticably changes speed when the A/C is turned
on... you need to check that kicker device.

this device is located on the intake manifold of the 92 sunny it is
electrically powered valve that opens and closes to adjust the idle
speed, there are some wire connections to it when u plug them off you
should hear the engine stutter a bit.what can happen is the valve gets
jammed with oil residue an carbon, when u pull out the valve try spraying
it with some wd40 or carb cleaner if this doesnt work you will have to
change it.
