Just started a thousand or so miles ago. Gear whine, even with clutch disengaged. Disappears when you shift out of first or second. Disappears when you shift out of first or second. > Just had the pilot shaft bearing replaced to address that symptom in my girlfriends '96 I30t. Total cost of the rebuild was around $900, including axle bearings and seals (leaked bad, too).
