I'm thinking about getting a new Altima 2.5 S, and I'm wondering how
they handle in snow and bad weather?  Reviewers never talk about that.
I live in the Philadelphia, PA area, and we don't get real harsh
winters like the midwest, but we do get some snow and ice in the
winter.  Is the Altima notoriously bad in bad weather, adequate, or
does it handle great?  TIA

95% tires... 5% Altima

I got an 05 in early January.   I live on a hill in New England, and
have a decent commute and I can say that I've had no troubles with it.

Of course no car will get you to a safe stop if you're doing 50 on sheet
ice!

Why not Sentra, cheaper, PZEV (partially zero-emissions vehicle), save on
gas and health, upgrade wheel rims and interior and still spend less $$ than
altima fat pig

Well it is a front wheel drive Nissan     I think it shuld do
all right in the winter time I got a Nissan Almera and a Primera both
do very well in wintertime as long as you make sure you got good
tiers.

It isn't as good as a four wheel drive vehicle but I would say it is above
average in the front wheel drive vehicles.

It's FWD. How bad can it be? And if it is bad, it must be the tires.
