Thanks for the replys on the timing belt earlier. Im for now a brakes and
oil only guy. But I may try the timing belt on my Civic... If that goes well
then I will do others next time.
My question is what other work should be done at the same time. Do you have
to take all the plugs out while changing the belt? I know one is near the
firewall on the 96 patherfinder and kind of hard to get to. I was going to
give them new NKG plugs to put in if they have to take them out.
Also I need new belts, they would have to take those off as well correct?

Correct, the WP and tensioner are a good idea to replace and the passenger
side cam seal is alsp a good item to replace while you're in there. Also
make SURE they use a dealer nissan T-belt as it has marks to make alignment
much easier. The marks on the covers are notoriously off a bit and it's
easy to get the passenger side cam out a tooth.
