I just bought a 87 nissan maxima and it failed on the smog test ie: high CO levels and HC levels 15 mph 4.73% and 330 ppm 25 mph 4.63% and 339 ppm miles on car 239,000 what could make these amount so high visual inspection passed Thank Lewis H. Yes, you're sure running rich all right.
