I have an Infinity 1994 Q45 (non-touring) that originally had a brake
pad electronic sensor. I recently had a mechanic install new brake
pads without this electronic sensor and now the car's computer displays
a "brake pads worn" message in the dashboard. Except for
buying/installing the existing/new brake pad sensor, how do I get rid
of the "brake pads worn" message? There are wires that are attached to
this sensor. Can I just connect some wires to the other to trick the
cars computer into thinking the sensor is connected? Any suggestions
is appreciated.

Actually, like Click and Clack I was going to suggest he put a piece of
friction tape over the light. That's easier and faster than removing the
bulb.

I have the same car and same problem...your car have two sensors for the
brakes pads one in the front front and one in rear on the passager side
both have to be replaced if not the wheels will wear the old one down and
you will start haing electrical problem according to the dealer remove the
wheels and unplug the old sensors and remove the battery cable for 30 mins
after you install the new sensors...they will cost you about $50.00 a
senors at the dealer...GOOD LUCK
