VG20ET from a maxima into a 300ZX?

Anyone know if it would be possible to take a VG20ET and put it in
1985 300ZX without doing any modifiying? More simply, does anyone kno
if the VG series gearboxes are the same for VG20 and VG30?
Its so hard to find info on the VG20

It's HIGHLY likely. 80-98 pickups & pathfinders, 89-98 240sx, any 90+
non-TT 300zx, and all? 2wd skylines all have the same bellhousing. Nissan
doesn't reinvent the wheel w/out a good reason, from what I've seen.
