Engine dies after a few minutes

Hi,

I have a problem with my Micra '95.
Engine works perfectly (no stalls,
power cut-offs), until warmed. After
it has reached optimal temperature
(dashboard indicator, 5-10 min) it
suddenly goes down and I cannot start
it again until chilled! I'm sure that
it's not getting overheated and all
the rest of equipment works fine
(lights, radio, etc. no warnings on
dashboard). It dies either when I drive
or not. Have changed ignition cables
just in case, but it didn't help.
Please help me out there, I got stuck
in Sweden and don't know anyone here!!!

Regards

/Krystian

I am not at all familiar with what a Micra is, but have seen this on a non
Nissan where it was the coolant sensor:
Often cars have two sensors: one for the dash temperature and one for the
computer. Usually unplugging it causes it to think the car is near normal
temperature so if you find the sensor, try that to see if that is the case
with your car. If so, you'll need to replace it.
