1998 pathfinder pops outa 3rd at high rpm

the shifter will pop outa 3rd at higher rpms. it doesnt force its way out,
like if i have my hand on the shifter it wont pop out, but if my hand isnt
on the shifter and i am decelarating in higher rpms it shifts out. do u
think something might be stuck in there??? is it the gear lock???? not
enough diff fluid?? engine alignment off??? or ????

It's either worn bearings, a slightly bent shift fork or a worn synco hub
assembly..
