From what I hear, it's a repeat of the '05. Supposedly they were going to do
one of those fake hybrids to compete with the equally fake Toyota Prius
hybrid. Wasn't ready in time so it's to be an '07...

The CEO or someone at Nissan management hated 2006 the first moment he saw
it, so engineers were ordered toredesign but another rumor is that due to
thi sdelay 2006 migh tlook identical to 2005, and only 2007 will be a
freshly design vehicle not as ugly as current models.  My experienc ewith
Sentras is that of an ugly exterior fo rmost years, mine 2004 is finally
reworked front (esp grille, nice) but rear still like a tin can so whta, i
care more for engine, I dont have too much money to waste on looks and as we
all know Nissan is mor eabout substance (engine, etc) than apperance, it
look slike shoe, i dont care, what i crea is th ehigheght torque in its
class i a small 1.8L engine, PZEv emissions, fuel efficiency, etc etc

And to my suprise fuel efficiency in 2005 model went down why???  Mine
(2004) is rated 35 highway, 2005 is rated 34mpg, i get 40 as mentioned befor
eude ot weights reduction and wheel upgrade and synth oil

Search Web for this, there was a story on 2006 Sentra and how management
hated it
