No, it's something else. Do you have spark?

i have tons of spark, if i hold a rag full of gas in front of air
intake it fires right up

Then you can't have fuel pressure. There might be an inertia switch that
shuts off the fuel pump in case of an accident. Look in your owner's
manual. They usually have a reset switch somewhere.

Airbags have nothing to do with that problem... how did you determine
the injectors are not working?

If you have fuel pressure, the injectors are firing, and spark, then
check the cam timing. Maybe the belt slipped in the collision. Does it
sound normal turning over?

Doesn't make sense. If you have fuel pressure and the injectors are
firing and it runs off the rag, it should run...

thats just it the injectors are not firing

Oh, sorry, I misread your earlier message. I thought you said the noid
light showed they were firing. Guess I don't know then. I'd have to
troubleshoot it. I'd say crank sensor, but since the plugs fire that's
probably not it. Could be a bad ECU or damaged harness. Do you have an
OBDII scanner? You might want to see if any codes are set.

i was thinking the same about crank sensor. the book says the sensor
controls the injector paulse. i think its worth a shot.
thanks for all your help.
