'93 Quest - Brake Repairs - Warning Light still on

Have  '93 Quest with ABS. It sprung a leak in a rear brake line. I was
out and about, by the time I got home the fluid level was low and the
warning light had come on.

While checking it out I found that a front caliper was frozen. So, I
changed both front calipers and replaced the broken and nearly broken
lines (two lines running to the rear). Refilled, bled.

Brakes work well now although they are a little spongier than I think
they should be. Probably still some a little air in there. But, the
warning light is still on. I assumed it was low fluid that brought it
on, but perhaps it measures other things? Any ideas on correcting it?

Thanks.

Perhaps the parking brake switch is sticking...

Two ideas... make certain first it's not the emergency brake actuator
switch that's causing the light... I know on some vehicles it triggers
the same "brake" indicator lamp. If that checks out... probably the
proportioning valve is not centered and the internal malfunction
indicator switch is triggered. This happened when the hose blew. The
internal valve shifts (like it should have) to block the ports that
have the leak. This is a safety gadget that has been on cars for many
years. I have experienced your exact problem many times with older
vehicles after brake jobs. The only way I know to re-center the valve
is to bleed a back brake... then a front. By opening a leak to the
front and then rear ports... it makes the valve shift position. I have
never had to replace the proportioning valve... and always got the
light off.

Thanks. I guess it centered itself after sitting overnight as the
light went off the next day. Maybe there was a little air in the line
causing issues. They seem like they still pump just a little so there
might be just a little bit of air stuck in there.
