Have you excluded the 2.2 Dci X-trail?

You thinking of buying new or second hand? The CRV has only just recently
been given a diesel engine, so if second hand your limited to the petrol I
suppose.

I have a 2.2 DCI X-trail and am more than happy with it. Which one you like
more is personal taste, and my taste dont like the CRV, too hairdresser type
for me, although seem quite nice inside. I did like the look of the older
CRV's though, just the newer ones I dont like.

The 2l in the xtrail will probably feel too underpowered and the 2.5 will
drink the fuel. If speed/acceleration dont bother you, or fuel economy dont
bother you then thats the decision made.
