The headlights on my '94 Sentra work fine except the plastic seems to be
cloudy on the inside. The lights aren't as bright as they could be. Do I
replace the whole headlight assembly or can they be taken apart to clean the
inside? If I take out the headlight assembly does everything need to be
aligned again?

a friend of mine has a dodge avenger with the same problem, you need to
replace the whole assembly, the fogged apearance of the plastic is actually
heat damage to the plastic lense of the headlight

I had the same problem on my 94 Altima. One headlight was worse than the
other but they were both yellowing. In my case it was not the inside of the
lens that had gone cloudy, but the outside.
I used some Meguiar's ScratchX on them followed by a coat of Gold Class wax,
and they cleared right up like new! I had to do it every 6 months or so to
keep them clear but the difference was amazing.
Give that a try before you spend any money on new lenses :)
